Literally the only feature preventing me from purchasing emClient.
Just set up a SEARCH FOLDER and let this search mails that you want to delete (like: older than 6 months AND read). Then, once in a while, click on that search folder, mark all mails (CTRL+A) and press the DEL key.
This imho is MUCH safer than automatically deleting
@ong Having a lot of mails already sorted by Filters I want to get deleted after X Days, and I'm not going through all of them to delete them manually. If Thunderbird and Outlook can handle this, then why is emClient so reluctant to integrate?
Same problem with spam.
emCLient constantly points out that the provider regulates something like this, but there are enough who don't have it by default. And here, too, Thunderbird and Outlook create a spam filter integration.
But that should be another topic.
I would really like to use emCLient and could still cope with the spam problem, but the fact that an integration of automatic deletion after X Days is missing is a no-go for me
Same opinion here: a great feature that is still missing.
I've just tried to create a rule in eM Client to delete mails according to their age (and other attributes) but found nothing. That really surprised me. I'm doing that for years already in Outlook and it's an easy way helpng me to keep my mail accounts tidy.
I hope eM Client implents it soon. Can't come up with a reason not to offer such a rule / feature.
