@olivia_rust On the fly means that as soon as you start typing in the search field
the various relevant possible combinations show up in grey in that
field. A good example of this functionality is found in Mac OSX
Spotlight Search.

I think for the the described on-the-fly search emClient is to slow when it has a large mail-base. emClient is a fast searcher - but not fast enough. This is actually something that annoys me
