What about storing things to be synchronized as plain text into an IMAP folder - no need for a cloud service, transparent to use.
I'd love that. Most rules are Local and therefore th ebig Sort only starts when I turn my PC on. Which by now can be as little as once a Week. I'd be a blessing if it'd sort on mobile as well.
