These parts are body parts, not strictly speaking file attachments. eM displays "This is part one" and shows the other 2 parts as file attachments. While this is minimally acceptable, some mail clients display the parts inline. For example:
This is part one
This is part two
This is part three
I would like to see eM display (or have an option to display) unnamed multipart/mixed body parts inline similar to the above. K9 on Android does this.
I have seen some mailing lists attach a body part to messages, for example, with list info. I have also seen some email security systems add a security banner in an additional attahment. It is useful and more natural to see them inline rather than click on and open these as a separate attachment.
Mozilla Thunderbird also displays multipart messages inline where the parts are unnamed. (see attached photo).
