Yes, please, make a Linux client (flatpak and snap) which is on par with the WIndows one in design and features, performance!
Yes, this would really help to keep all the different platforms consistent. My daily work and increasingly leisure driver is Debian. If it can be done for iOS then please do it for Linux. Linux users will also buy if they value it and since you have a free tier already you can only impress. I'm sure there's a licensing model that would suit. Also, Calendar and task integration in the client appears not readily available for Linux
I want eM Client for Linux Mint, and Zorin OS, WITH NO artificial intelligence ar all anywhere in the email Client.
I'm leaving Windows, and I guess I'll be leaving eM Client too. Oh well! I just know, I KNOW migrating eM Client to linux is going to cost me more money in licensing fees to eM Client. So the mere idea that Linux users "might as well take a hike" just makes the idea of leaving eM Client all the better.
The only reason why I'm still running a Windows VM in Linux is eM Client. Please make a native Linux version. There is no other email client with similar UX and features for Linux right now.
Tried to run EMC in WINE, but it sucks. Please provide a native Linux version.
Please make a version of eM Client for Linux Mint! So many ppl are leaving windows now since win11 will not run on older machines. We are sick of the M$ model of requiring constant hardware and software upgrades. eM Client is the best email program, and would easily become the top email program used on Linux if only it was available.
+1 for a Linux version. I'd be happy to pay annually I promise !!
In 2019 Windows was about 80%, Mac was 16% and Linux was almost 2%. In 2024 Windows is 71% (moving down), Mac is 15% and Linux is 4.5%. These are worldwide numbers. 4% means well over 10 million users. If eM Client is first to jump into providing a Linux (deb & rpm) client - or even provide a flatpack - then that would result in two things: 1) First-to-Market exposure (think zoom exploding during the pandemic), 2) MORE MONEY. The math: 1 million x $39.95/year = $39,950,000 -- or -- let's just say even a minimal calculation: 500,000 x $59.95/One Time Payment = $29,975,000. That pays a LOT of salaries and great ROI for investors. Check out https://gs.statcounter.com/os-market-share/desktop/worldwide
