If proxy is set in Windows we use it for HTTP/S requests. Only proxies with no authentication or Windows authentication are supported.

The documentation doesn't seem to mention the use of a system agent, so I don't know much about it.
I would still like to have good proxy support though.
For example, maybe I use two email accounts at the same time, one of them needs to use the internal proxy to connect, and the other one, such as gmail, can't connect through the proxy.
In such a case using the system proxy is not enough and you may need to switch back and forth.
