Hi,
In iOS Mail, the app could learn where mails from a particular sender are normally moved to and then automatically suggest this (existing) folder. Currently, you only see all folders in a long folder overview when moving. In iOS, you can either display all folders and search for the destination folder there OR the folder where you have moved mails with this sender in the last few mails is suggested directly below.
Just as an example:
The first time you receive a mail from Tim Cook at Apple called tim.cook.super-ceo@apple.com - after you have informed Tim Cook that you are not interested in taking over his position at Apple, you move the mail to the “Apple” folder using the move function and first have to search through many folders listed and find the folder. The mail is moved and EM Client has learned: Aha! The mail from the sender tim.cook.super-ceo@apple.com has been moved to the “Apple” folder!
The next day we get a reply back from Tim Cook, in which he makes it clear that he is very sad about the decision because he is aware that there are hardly any innovative new features in his iPhones and it would be great if someone would take over his position and fuel it with innovative ideas. Without an answer, we want to move the mail to the “Apple” folder, click on “Move” and we are suggested (as in iOS Mail): “Move mail” (which shows the long list of folders) and the “Apple” folder, because EM Client has learned that we moved the mail from this sender there last time - so we no longer have to search through the folder list.
However, EM Client should also learn (like iOS Mail) if we regularly move the sender's mails elsewhere in the future and adapts accordingly.
What do you think abot that?
