I concur on this feature. Having pinned the most important stuff at the top for easy access is practice Outlook introduced several years back, and they surely have some reasons.
This almost makes me want to just keep using Postbox. This is a feature that I rely on greatly. All of the workarounds are cludgy.
@danita Same here. I have my flagged msgs pinned to the top, a very important function for me. I have got the free Thunderbird which does that, but until Postbox is no longer reliable , will continue to use postbox.
I rely heavily on pinning my flagged messages in Postbox. Would be lost without that feature. Been told on eM that cannot do that, so here I am. In the meantime I have downloaded Thunderbird which does pin them, albeit the tag etc is on the right not left. But knowing it works, I will continue to use Postbox until it becomes unreliable.
@danita I'm with you. I can't fully convert to eM Client without this feature.
Agreed. In PB you can sort by date, but yet keep the flagged items (highly important) at the top of the list. In PB this could be turned on/off from this menu... (and yes, until this feature is added, I will be staying on PB)
Admin - There is another thread that is basically the same as this one for IOS/Android. Everyone here needs to vote for that one as well. "pin messages to top"
@spencer_cotton thank you for the heads up, but we intentionally left these 2 as separate for desktop/mobile, as the feature could make more sense in mobile apps which does not have the same sorting options as desktop (where you can technically sort by flag or other indicator and then just sort flagged emails first) - it's possible we will add both eventually, but the mobile one will more likely be first.
