New Post
I frequently need to change appointments to somewhere in the next week or a few weeks later. It would be very easy if you can click on an event, drag it to the right edge of the calender window, and that the calender then would automatically scroll to the next week (as if you would swipe left). Or, if you want your event one week earlier, to move it to the left edge of the calender window.
From what I understand, the way to do this now is to switch to month view and drag-drop it there, or to move an event to the left sidebar (with the minimonth calenders) and drop it there on the desired date. But in that case you cannot pick a specific time. Or do I miss something?
Related to this, I miss the possibility to swipe left and right (I am using a magic mouse on a Mac) in Calender view, to quickly move back and forward in the agenda. Now you need to click on the arrow buttons on the top, which works, but the addition of swipe controls would greatly enhance the user experience for me.
Best regards, Roel
Hi Roel, you could just add the desired day to your week view and drag it there- that way you can choose the time.
If you're in week view and then hold CTRL and click another day in the minicalendar, it will be added to the view. Do the same to "remove" a specific day again.
Hi Olivia,
Thank you for your quick reply! That is certainly a useful feature that I was not aware of. It works great!
Considering the swiping left-right in week view, is there any chance that em client will implement this in the future?
Best wishes, Roel
@info1148 Hi Roel, there's always a chance, I have approved your idea for voting so it can be considered, but I just wanted to provide a work-around that could help you in the meantime :)
Hi Olivia,
Great, thank you!
