New Post
I use a lot of email aliases to create unique addresses that I use with particular groups of people or organisations etc. and to protect my base email address.
I also host my calendars on a calendar server on a local NAS box. The calendar account on the NAS box does not have a 'real' email address that works outside of my LAN.
When i create an appointment in eM Client Calendar, then add attendee email addresses and send the invitation, the "From" address of the outgoing invitation is the dummy email address of the local account on my internal calendar server. i.e. my identity in the calendar invitation is hardwired to the identity of the calendar account where I created the invitation.
Enhancement Request
When preparing a calendar appointment invitation, it would be really good to be able to choose the "From" email alias and (by implication of the email account linked to that alias) the SMTP server used to send the invitation email.
eM Client would still be able to relate this appointment to the correct local calendar account as this can still be part of preparing the invitation.
So in summary, this feature would need to split the following two items to make them independant:
Thanks.
